We would love to welcome you to our home, built in typical southern French style and equipped with every comfort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In summer, we enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or an aperitif on one of the terraces—moments we are happy to share with our guests.
Our large garden is located in the middle of the forest of the La Sainte-Baume regional park. This provides a wonderful sense of peace that you feel as soon as you arrive. In the evening, we like to gaze at the beautiful starry sky before retreating to a nicely cooled room — and we want everyone who stays here to have the same experience.
In winter, we make it cozy inside, with the wood fire crackling softly in the cozy living room. It is a place where you naturally slow down and find yourself.
There is ample parking available, and part of our property is securely fenced so that your four-legged friend can also enjoy the vacation without any worries.

The Var enchants with its unspoiled nature and breathtaking landscapes. Winding hiking trails lead you past forests, valleys, and hidden viewpoints, while challenging cycling routes appeal to every sports enthusiast. You can also discover picturesque roads by car or motorcycle that take you from one surprise to the next.
Our house is located in a small, charming village where you will find everything you need. There is a cozy grocery store with regional specialties, a restaurant, and a delicious pizzeria where we like to pick up takeout or eat in. There is also a renowned bakery—ideal for fresh bread and delicious pastries in the morning.
Here you will find the peace and quiet you sometimes long for: the silence, the space, and the slow pace of the south. But if you are looking for a little more liveliness, just drive to the coast, where a pleasant bustle, beach, and Mediterranean energy await.
The driveway to the house runs through the woods, which immediately gives you that cozy “away from it all” feeling. After heavy rain, it may be a little washed out in places, but if you drive carefully, you'll get there without any problems. For us, it's part of the charm of this spot in nature.
History of the house
Nestled on a picturesque mountain next to a serene water source, this remarkable house was built by a passionate writer and journalist. Alongside his friend, who purchased the adjacent lot, they crafted a home filled with creativity and inspiration. While living here, the previous owner authored two books, leaving a lasting legacy. After his passing in 2022, his daughter and wife cherished the home until we took ownership in 2024, ready to continue the story.
